Bauer Supreme One55 Junior Hockey Shoulder Pads The Bauer Supreme One55 shoulder pads are an excellent intermediate shoulder pad. Bauer uses dual density foams along the sternum and spine to provide additional protection. They also use plastic reinforcements in the bicep guards to provide additional protection. The bicep guards have a nice wrap around design. There is a adjustment feature on the bicep guard to customize how far it sits down. This is a nice feature because the bicep guards are a bit longer then the standard. Bauer segments the foams to allow it to bend and flex with body movement. They also use a somewhat segmented panel design in the front. The two side panels attach at the top and bottom of the piece allow a bit more movement. However, this does not allow as much movement as the full segmented panel design of the one75 or one95.
