The goal of the Vapor line, and the tapered fit, is to give you a close, lightweight, comfortable fit without sacrificing any protection. The place where you will find the most weight savings is in the Aerolite™ Foam. Aerolite™ is around 30% lighter than other high-density foams, and equally as protective. Also, it doesn't absorb water like other HD foams. And speaking of moisture, Bauer's brand new 37.5™ technology is featured in the liner of these pads, as it is in the entire APX2 line.
