Just bought these and realized that, like the previous owner, I am better off going with 14". These are unused by me. Previous owners description below:
Used for half season, shins were a bit too long and rubbed on bottom on skates, decided to buy size 14 in same shins. Great defenseman shin pads with lots of protection and excellent fit around leg.
- Measurement: Center of knee donut/orange D3O to bottom of shin measures exactly: 15inch / 38.1cm.
- Note: Comes with original removable pads for those who wear tongues out. (will be added back).
Condition:
Very clean, always worn over compression pants/socks, normal scuffs from games, nothing broken or cracked. Minimal wear on bottom due to skate rubbing. Always stored outside of hockey bag. Shins have been cleaned with alcohol, liners have been cleaned and sprayed with deodorizer. Always air dried after games. (see images).

Notes: For those wondering what the difference between this CCM Tacks AS-V vs CCM Tacks AS-V-Pro is: These pads share almost everything, all D3O is the same, same protection. Minor differences are different graphics, removable liner vs non removable. Outside knee wing pad (by top strap, is a bit more protective on the AS-V Pro and finally, the pad for tongues out vs in is removable on the AS-V, where on the AS-V Pro it moves up and down and non-removable. (Honest opinion: I don't see the value of the additions between the two version compared to the cost as they provide the same protection, but thats just me).
