These pads are in really good shape for their age. Mostly, just normal wear. One small tear on the outer left black padding (see picture). 15" length is just a little bit too long for me. Otherwise, I'd still be using them. Straps were removed when I received them. I did sew an A&R velcro strap to the pads to help secure them and then use tape to finish the job. Very comfortable and protective.
