STX Surgeon 500 Elbow Pads

OK....let's keep this real. These pads are beat up. I bought them at a AHL Pro Stock Sale. There are tears, worn areas. Again...very very used in pro setting. That being said... best elbow pads I ever used until STX released the Surgeon RX3 elbow pads. Description: Super light weight, crazy low profile, 3 piece design. Incredibly maneuverable. I've hated every elbow pad I've used until I got these. Feel like you've got nothing on. I can literally roll them into a ball. STX did release the RX3 which in my opinion is a little better as far as protection but lost a bit of the maneuverability. Also the RX3 is a tad bulkier. You can get those directly from STX for 100.00. Or you can buy these for 25.00 and stick to a budget. FIT: I would usually wear a medium, but the STX medium fit way to tight for my liking. The large fit perfect. There is a spot below the elbow joint where coverage is not great. So again... theses are in horrible shape, but still have some miles left. Had they not released the RX3, I'd still be wearing them. They look like crap, but still the best elbow pads I had used. I'm sticking with the RX3 because I paid too much for them. But still debated keeping the 500s.
