The abdomen, thighs, and tailbone can each be raised or lowered providing players with maximum coverage in key impact areas for all body types. The kidneys, spine guard, and hip protection is constructed with a molded plastic that is lined with standard foam to keep players protected in a physical battle while keeping them light on their feet. The hip protection has also been strategically designed to match the skating stride, giving players even better mobility. The thigh protection is built with an injected molded HD foam, an extremely lightweight yet highly effective foam at deflecting impact energy. Aside from being able to adjust up and down by as much as 5", the thigh guards also have a ton of adjustment in width too. No matter the size of your leg, the Code V Pro can give you spacious volume or remain close-to-the-body. Sherwood has included their shell with the Code V Pro, which easily attaches to the girdle via 3 Velcro loops. It's built with a durable nylon exterior with venting on both the front and rear panels.
