A lot of people ask about the "XL" and what it means, basically these blades have 3mm more steel on the toe ( length) what this dose is give you a little bit more steel to work with when profiling (adding life), but if your not profiling your blades, the XL steel comes with the same Stock profile (10 foo neutral pitch radius) than non XL STEPSTEEL) it is a win win!
