Step's Claim that they have the best blade period is further reinforced by the fact that over 80% of the NHL in their blades This Blade will fit all size 4 and 5 CCM Prolite G (3 bolt cowling). The Extreme blades where made in order to give the Goalie a huge advantage, this advantage was to have the ability to put more of your pad on the ice whilst still having an edge touching the ice. with this goalies saw an improvement in their game and ultimately the NHL banned the blades for providing to much of an advantage. These blades are brand new, bought from STEP directly (not from a distributor) I had a small hockey store but due to Covid I have shut up shop.
