I was introduced to the system about a year and a half ago and have never turn back. You can choose a 3 buckle system or in the Pics it shows a 4 buckle system, depending on your size of Skate. My player skates, size 11 have 3 each skate, my goalie skates I use 4 buckles each. It’s all a personal preference for feel. The adjustments are millimeters to inches by turning the buckle or by the groves in the catch side. They can be painted for a personal look, pic of a camouflage buckle in the pics .
