Selling an incredibly hard to find 1979 Winnwell hockey helmet. This model is the Winnwell 2000 and was the pre-cursor to the Cooper SK 2000 helmet.
This one is a white 2 piece shell, with original bumpers and original front cage accessory which are quite difficult to find!
It has been restored in the following ways:
* original plastic harness that holds the foam replaced with fibre board harness using all of the original foam. Original foam is still soft and very comfortable. 1 missing Center piece was replaced.
* original bumpers showed some signs of cracking on the middle hole, epoxied to reinforce the inside of the bumpers which are working as normal
* original face mask cage was missing the foam chin piece which was fabricated and added in matching Rubatex foam.
For a restored helmet this is a great show piece or could be worn if you choose. Mark messier used these for decades and finding white ones let alone any color is a challenge.
