Medium Bauer IMS 5.0 Helmet (Used)

The Bauer IMS 5.0 helmet is a mid-level model designed to deliver solid protection and comfort for hockey players. It features a multi-impact shell and is HECC certified, meeting current safety standards for on-ice use. The helmet incorporates Bauer’s standard foam padding system, which balances impact absorption with a decent fit, and the medium size suits most average adult head sizes. Its retail configuration and black color make it a straightforward choice without custom modifications. This helmet is used but remains a reliable option for non-elite players who need dependable head protection. This medium sized helmet is best suited for players with a medium head circumference, typically adult or older youth players. It is appropriate for recreational leagues, practices, or games where HECC certification is required. The IMS 5.0’s balance of protection, comfort, and cost makes it a practical pick for those stepping up from entry-level helmets but who do not yet require the advanced features found in Bauer’s high-end models.
