Selling a red Bauer 4500 hockey helmet in size XL. Shell is 10/10. No cracks, scratches, scuffs, or blemishes. Pretty amazing condition for a helmet this old. All internal manufacturing stickers are intact, showing a manufacture date of February 2013. All external HECC and CSA stickers are intact, as well as Bauer manufacturing labels. Foam is 9/10. VN liner is still supple and will be perfect after you sweat in it a little bit. A couple of nicks out of the middle pad from being rested on a stick repeatedly. No smells and yellowing is minimal. The Bauer 4500 is still one of the most sought after helmets amongst pros and those in the know because of its looks and unparalleled comfort and fit. This one is ready for years of use!

Perfect helmet for:

Players who prioritize protection and appreciate a classic fit.

Adjustability

The Bauer 4500 hockey helmet is defined by its classic look. It features a dual-ridge crown and dual-density VN foam for protection. The 4500 has a quick tool adjustment, which allows easy customization of the head shape, ensuring maximum comfort and protection. The 4500 also features a ventilation system, incorporating vents that allow airflow to circulate the helmet, preventing heat buildup.

“

The Bauer 4500 is a classic workhorse that dates back 3 decades, spanning brand names like Cooper, Nike, and even Nike Bauer. It's not the flashiest option, but it gets the job done with solid impact protection. The dual-density foam liner shapes to the head and provides reliable comfort and protection for the long haul. This helmet is a great choice for the purist who appreciates the classics, and it’s still widely used in the NHL today.
