A firmly constructed skate that helps generate power in their strides and t-pushes. It also allows them to flex lower into their static stance and helps provide excellent comfort and support for their positioning and stance. The CCM Tacks goalie skate features power form texturized composite quarter package which is a high end, layer formed boot with goalie specific reinforcements. This gives goalies excellent side to side power transfer capabilities for the strides and t-pushes with elite level support and comfort. The boot collar is shaped and molded to help allow the goalie to flex deeper into the stance and benefit from extremely quick recovery to stand back up. Featuring a multi-layer D30® tongue with lace bite protection, goalies get excellent comfort and protection designed for goalie positioning and movement. The super lightweight, rigid and thermo-formable core generates ultimate performance. The TotalDri liner is a high performance moisture-wicking material that keeps feet dry and skates light during use. The CCM Tacks goalie skates also include a nylon heel strap that allows the goalie to put their bottom pad strap through the back of the skate to allow the pad to sit higher on the legs. An extra light cowling with low-rim design, carbon composite inserts and highly reinforced toe area have been included to protect the goalie and the skate. The runner is the new Prolite G Black runner that has an oxide treatment for a longer edge life and a greater resistance to corrosion.
