Lighter than its predecessor, this skate features a modified shell construction, updated strapping system, and the return of HINGFLEX to offer up to 22 degrees of additional flex. Anaform Thermoformable Shell: Introduced with the Konekt HF2 skates, the Konekt HF3 goalie skates offer a custom-fit feel with a fully-thermoformable two-piece shell. 22° HingeFlex System: Adapted for goalies from Pro-Ski technology, Bauer's HingeFlex upper allows for 22-degrees of forward flexibility in the ankle. In practice, Bauer's HingeFlex upper allows the goalie to tighten their stance with more flex in the ankles over traditional skates; better ergonomically, this allows more of the goalie's body weight to be centered over their skates.
