Bauer Konekt Senior Goalie Skates: Designed to offer a near-custom, personalized fit, unmatched by off-the-shelf skates, Bauer's Konekt skates are built from a fully-thermoformable, Grilamid shell. Complementing their unique shell, the Konekt skates are fitted with Bauer's plush, Ultralon liners, designed to conform-to and retain the individual goalie's fit. Once properly thermoformed and fitted*, the Grilamid shell and Ultralon liners offer a uniquely custom-fit feel; easily secured with two precision-tunable buckles. Further unique to Bauer's Konekt skates, a plated HingeFlex joint allows for up to 22 degrees of forward flex. In practice, the HingeFlex 22° range-of-motion allows the goalie to tighten their stance with more flex in the ankle over traditional skates; better ergonomically, this allows the more of the goalie's body weight to be centered over the skates. Derived from Pro-Ski technology, the Konekt skates' Grilamid lower shell offers superior impact protection and cold-temperature durability over a traditional skate boot. At the bottom of the shell, Bauer's anatomical PushPlate holder mounting has been implemented directly into the shell; offering a more direct feel and optimizing foot position for powerful pushes. Mounted into the PushPlate mounting, Bauer's Vertexx Edge Holder allows the skates to hold an edge at a lower, more aggressive angle with included LS Pulse 3mm Stainless Steel runners. *Please Note: Due to their custom-forming design, the Konekt skates require a unique fitting procedure and will not fit properly unless fitted by a Bauer Certified Game Fit Retailer.
