Brand new! Just a bit too small for me. Vaughn continues the success of one of the most comfortable goalie pants on the market with the Vaughn Ventus SLR2 Pro Senior Goalie Pants. Starting off with the build of the SLR2 Pro Senior, Vaughn has used a loose fit style of pant that features a taller front profile for added protection along the hips and abdominal section. At the waist, there is a wider design provides added diameter to the pants to allow room for a comfortable chest protector tuck. The wide front profile and loose fit design naturally adds net coverage and is manageable to stay up on the goaltender with the lace up front and padded internal belt. The internal belt is also removable for the goaltender that prefers a completely wide open voluminous fit. The upper waist features a raised tail bone pad and molded kidney protection combined with high density foam segments for added flexibility and structure to the pant. The internal hip and tail bone areas feature air cushioned padding that increases protection and keeps the pant centered on the body for even coverage. The pant is completed with a vented mesh internal lining for light weight, fast drying, and added abrasion resistance for added durability. On the lower part of the SLR2 Pro Senior, the thigh pads features a wide 11 inch profile with a slight curve and high density foam for added net coverage. The groin features a 5 inch stretch panel for more flexibility and is protected with high-density foam. In comparison to the Vaughn Ventus SLR2 Pro Senior, the SLR2 Pro Carbon features a domestic build with carbon and higher quality construction.
