These are true pads that I got about a year ago, and I had a great time with them. They offer great rebound control, great seal on the post, and they allow for better control when sliding due to how the strap system is built. They’ve seen a lot of shots (you can see it on the pad) but there’s so much more life in these pads. It’s no wonder that so many NHL goalies use true, and even though it’s more of an older model, these pads are still a great affordable option for a more professional pad.
