New Vaughn Slr3 Goalie Leg Pads

New for 2022 is the SLR3 Junior leg pads from Vaughn. These pads feature many elite attributes and tech—some of which are also found in the Senior pads—including QuickSlide, a Rotation Control strap, and bungee cord toe attachments. These pads have been optimized to enhance performance in the butterfly stance, and are a great option for young goalies who often find themselves going down into the position. External Material Vaughn used classic jenpro synthetic leather on the exterior of the pads, a common option in goalie pad manufacturing due to its water resistance and durability. In addition, the pads have been outfitted with Vaughn’s own QuickSlide, renowned among many elite and professional goalies for its unparalleled glide along the ice. Internal Construction The core of the SLR3 Junior leg pads is made entirely of HD foam for good protection and seamless performance. Akin to the rest of the SLR3 series, the pads have a strong focus on controlling rebounds. This comes from the front panel and core’s functions, which give the pads a more active puck response.
