Core Construction Firm Core: The V10 Pro pads ship with a mid-stiff foam core, stiffer in the thigh with a single break to offer a bit more flex. Stiffer foams pad the core, giving rebounds a balance between velocity & control. Classic Knee Roll Build w/ Single Break Outer Roll: Three flat knee rolls preserve the classic Velocity look and allow goalies the option for more controlled rebounds off the knees. Built to hold a softer pre-curve, these pads feature mid-stiff outer rolls with a single break below each knee. Mobility & Crease Control QuickSlide Inner Edge: Vaughn’s QuickSlide is a highly durable synthetic material that wraps the V10 Pro pads’ entire inner sliding edge to greatly reduce sliding friction. Seen above, Vaughn’s QuickSlide is embossed with a fine cross-hatching to add just enough friction to control the slides. Compared to JenPro and other synthetic leathers found in goalie pads, Vaughn’s QuickSlide inner edge offers greater durability with a unique balance of slide power and control.
