Used 34+2" 35+2 Vaughn Ventus SLR2 Pro Carbon Goalie Leg Pads Pro Stock Scholl Black Gold

Vaughn Ventus SLR2 Pro Hockey Goalie Leg Pads Pro Stock so they don't look like standard SLR2's Color: Penguins Black and Gold - Scholl Slide Material: Quickslide Size: 34+2 per Vaughn - Not sure why Vaughn did this but these are basically 35+2's - I wear a 34 for the VE8 and Pro V elite / Warrior 34 / Bauer 34 or Medium / Brian's 34 so again not sure why Vaughn calls these a 34 when they are 35's. I loved the color scheme so even though I knew they were bigger then I normally wear I wanted to give them a shot. I can wear them they are just a bit cumbersome feeling because they are 35+2's when I really needed them to be 34+2's. If you wear 34's and don't move much these could work for you. If you are pretty active in the crease I'd stick with 34's. Vaughn's stiffer pads but these do have a outer roll break as you can see in the pictures. Rebounds aren't booming like Bauer but pretty decent. Quickslide is the best sliding material in the business! Strap system is great. I like a snugger fit and the Professor strap provides that. If you want a looser fit you can remove it and then strap down the calf versus behind the knee so you have options. There is also a strap behind the calf. Toe straps not included but you can use some skate lace you have laying around. Heel straps included but not attached at the moment. **READ** Pads are in great shape as shown. I didn't wear them much because they were a bit big on me. However, I had a pair of V9 pants I really loved but they had an orange stripe. I tried to cover that up with a permanent black fabric marker to match these pads but as you can see in the pictures it still bled a little when it got sweaty/wet. You cannot see any from the front but the back fabric does have some staining from me trying that. Let me know if you have any questions. I try to ship as quickly as possible. Thanks for looking!
