ARIZONA COYOTES Harri Sateri game-worn Bauer goalie leg pads from 2021-2022 NHL season

This is a set of goalie leg pads that were used by Finland star Harri Sateri late in the 2021-22 season with the Arizona Coyotes. Sateri made 17 saves as Finland beat defending champion Russian 2-1 in the finals at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Bejing to win its first gold medal in hockey. Sateri then signed a free-agent contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs but was claimed off waivers by Arizona in March 2022. Sateri wore these Bauer leg pads with a snowflake design for the Coyotes as he had a 2-2-1 record in six games to finish the season but was not retained and he now plays pro hockey in Switzerland. These size 35+ blue and white Bauer Vapor Hyperlite leg pads show moderate overall use with SATERI on tags on the upper backside. The Vapor logo is in raised letters in the outside of each pad with his #29 screened on. (Sateri wore #29 at the 2022 Olympics but his pads were not approved and he had to wear a different pair with less logos). This set of Sateri items were obtained directly from the Coyotes.

The Bauer Vapor Hyperlite goalie leg pads feature a lighter and more flexible knee, thanks to the new Stabiliflex bracket, which offers increased mobility and responsiveness. The REBOUND BOOST CORE, a new foam construction, provides extra rebound pop and a lighter, more flexible pad core. An added Balance Plate at the calf enhances balance and ice seal for more controlled movements in the crease.
