Vaughn Velocity V6 Karri Ramo pro return leg pads

Vaughn Velocity V6 pro return leg pads from Karri Ramo, formerly of the Calgary Flames. My research indicates these are from the 2014-15 season, but they’re still in excellent condition with minimal wear and few puck marks. Very flexible with an incredibly comfortable leg channel, a uniquely tapered toe, top strap professionally added, and a more traditional strapping style than what is currently on the market. No size listed but my best estimate is 35 + 1.5. All leather straps and buckles are in fantastic shape, the Velcro knee lock has lots of life left as well. The only visible wear is to the underside of the boot as pictured. If you like a traditional pad with a lot of flex and a familiar strapping setup, these are the pads for you!

Vaughn has successfully combined the flex and freedom of the butterfly style with updated coverage, rebound control, and comfort. The knee blocks are snug, and leg and ankle coverage is complete without sacrificing movement. The 'skate tunnel' design keeps the pads positioned correctly on the ice while allowing for quick movements across the crease. I recommend replacing the Velcro knee strap on used sets, as they lose elasticity over time.
