These are game-worn leg pads of Phoenix Coyotes goalie Robert Esche from the 2000-01 NHL season in which he had a 10-8-4 record and two shutouts in 25 games. They are Eagle TP15 37 pads in the team's old colors and both have ESCHE embroidered on the upper sides. The Coyotes equipment staff says the pads measure 34 x 1.5. They show good overall use with a team repair around the knee area of the left pad. The team also replaced the lower white strap on the left pad with a black strap for whatever reason. The pads are photo-matched to the angular puck/stick mark at the top of the right pad. Obtained directly from the team in 2002.
