The double-break outer roll features the traditional Reactor "Flex-Darts", and it's triangular shape serves to both reduce pad weight and deflect pucks downward upon impact. The leg channel of the Reactor 6000 features a sewn-in knee cradle, which provides plenty of space for goalies who like to wear bulkier, under the pants knee/thigh padding. For those who prefer an attached pad, an NHL legal under-pant thigh protector comes standard. Quick release nylon webbing knee and thigh straps also help reduce weight and make attaching the leg pads that much quicker.
