Weave Slide Material!! 33 + 1.5" Vaughn Ventus SLR Pro Carbon Goalie Leg Pads Pro Stock Senior Used

Nice set of Vaughn Ventus SLR Pro Carbon Leg Pads 33 + 1.5". These were custom ordered with a pretty neat grey/red & white with pattern graphic. These were also upgraded with a weave slide material versus the standard jenpro. These slide very very nicely and is one of the reasons I purchased them. Fronts show some light puck wear but are in nice shape. The only noticeable wear is one small cut above the right landing block ( I am pointing at in pic). Will not effect function and you can leave as is or sew shut. Otherwise there is some fraying wear the pad sits on top of the boot. I used Brian's sandwich velcro toe ties and some of the velcro is exposed so it frayed the material slightly. Again, will not effect performance. Strapping system is great, another reason I purchased them. The addition of the professor strap is really really nice and you can strap behind the knee or down the calf with the knee block strap. The boot strap is set up to either a) wrap below the skate b) wrap behind the boot or c) completely remove. It is leather with stretch material in the middle. Strapping is pretty much perfect and gives you options. These weigh about 4.8 lbs so they are pretty light especially if you are coming from an older pad. Probably middle of the pack for newer gear. Will help reduce any late game fatigue and help you get around in the crease a little quicker. Fitment is a little different for the SLR's. For reference I would wear a 34 Warrior / 34 Brian's / 34 Bauer (Medium) or a 34 VE8 Pro. For these the 33 is perfect for me. Not sure why Vaughn did this but hopefully this helps. NOTE: If you want a full matching set I believe the gloves are still for sale by a different seller. He has had them for a bit so he may make you a pretty nice deal on them. Remember, these will perform a little different than other SLR's because of the weave slide material. Will speed you up a little. Toe ties not included. I try to ship as quickly as possible.
