Warrior Ritual G2 Senior Leg Pads 35+1.5

Reason for selling: I bought these pads new from total hockey to replace my reebok 14k leg pads which were too small for me. I ordered a size larger than the reeboks. I thought they would be the perfect size on my calculations, but when i got them they seemed a bit big. i didn't realize that my reeboks have shrunken. There is a good 2 1/2 inches in height over the reeboks when it should of been 1 1/2 inches. I thought after a while i would get used to them. landing on the knee blocks were good and centered but the thigh rise was too tall and made me feel less mobile (I'm 5 ft 9 1/2 in). I played fine with them and they perform great but the thigh rise is just bugging me. Usage: Only used for 2 months, 3 times a week. Never used used in a season. Current condition: Like new. Since they were too big, the bottom corner of the thigh rise rubbed the red nylon of the inner thigh rise of the other pad and caused a little wear in the corners (pictured). This was caused by me. Would never happen if they were the right size. other than that, the pad is in great condition. The elastic toe strapping just is slightly stretched and that is expected. Performance: They perform well. Rebounds are easy to control. Since the pads have a firm face, they shoot out rebounds very well. The pads have a great seal to the ice. The knee blocks have a large landing surface for big knee guards. in addition, the height of the blocks makes it easy to seal the five hole and prevent pucks from slipping through. Elastic straps make putting on and off the pads quick and easy and work fine in play. lastly, the pads are very light. These in a 35+1.5 are 5.01 lbs (single pad). I wish i had them in the right size cause they would work out very well and feel great. Shame i have to loose some money to get the right size. Sizing: They are 35+1.5. I have compared to CCMs in store and they size the same. Have any particular questions on these? Feel free to ask bellow. Thanks for looking!
