They use a system of embedded ball bearings to let you slide across the crease in a butterfly position without the friction of the floor. Product Details: • Full Set: Includes all 4 plates (2 for the knees, 2 for the calves). • Universal Fit: Designed to fit almost any brand or model of goalie leg pads. • Easy Installation: Can be strapped on easily using the included straps or modified with Velcro. • Surface Versatility: Works on sport court, plastic tile, wood, and concrete. Condition: Gently used with some light surface scuffs from normal play. The ball bearings are intact and roll smoothly. These help protect your expensive goalie pads from wear and tear on hard surfaces. I’ve switched completely to ice hockey and no longer use these.
