These pads are still in very good condition. They have been used for two seasons and will demonstrate some cosmetic signs of wear but were well cared for. The G6 pads have many customization options, and the included toe ties work great. The slide plates on the pads also help with crease movements, which are almost too much for some. The shape and angle of the leg pads above the knees are very straight, which can leave your five-hole open for players (like myself) with limited hip mobility, but the internal knee blocks do tend to stop most pucks that find their way through.
