I moved on to a Bauer Mach chestie, this chestie still protects against shots well, I just like the Mach arms way more. It has a slight smell that can be washed away pretty easily. Also the lower belly flap has been removed so if you tuck your chest piece or have a shorter torso it will actually fit better than a normal large. All damage is cosmetic, so it easily has at least 3-4 more years of life before it starts to actually degrade.
