Following the mindset of the Vapor 1X pant, the 1X chest protector is designed for ultimate mobility. There are specific features that aid into the mobility of this unit, and it begins with the Fast Strap harness system around the waist. This system is designed with a connection system where the goalie can quickly adjust the tension around their sides with a simple pull. The shoulder floaters were redesigned to be incredibly light with Aerolite technology and a streamlined shape to provide ample protection without sacrificing the mobility while looking side to side.
The weight of the 1X is dramatically lighter than its previous units, but it does not compromise on protection. Curv Composite is added into the biceps and forearms to create even more stability and protection. Coupled with Free Flex shoulder floaters, the entire body has proper segments to increase goalie specific movements while still giving the goalie the maximum blocking surface allowed.
The 1X body and back plate is lined with Transfer mesh and 37.5 technology which are designed to regulate the body temperature and reduce sweat buildup.
