The Vaughn Velocity V9 Pro jock is for the goalie who wants to feel protected yet doesn’t want to sacrifice mobility. It uses a thick, injection moulded design with a rubber edge bumper creating a stronger cup. An HD foam waist area provides improved pelvis protection while the segmented design allows for it to still be mobile and flexible. Cushion padding in key areas such as the side leg area and the back of the unit give it a more comfortable fit while an elastic adjustable waist and leg straps allow goalies to dial in the fit of the unit.
External Material
The V9 Pro jock uses a lightweight, breathable mesh construction along with a nylon binding and QuickSlide accents in order to increase durability. It uses HD foam segments in the waist area along with side cushion bumpers around the leg area as well as cushion padding on the back side of the unit to provide a comfortable fit free of pinching or pressure points.
Cup Protection
Vaughn uses a stronger, thicker injection moulded cup with a rubber edge bumper in order to prevent the cup from moving around during play as well as to give a more comfortable fit.
Fit
The V9 Pro cup uses a wide, adjustable elastic waist strap along with adjustable elastic leg straps. It also features a new contoured top waist giving it an improved fit over the more squared off VE8.
