This construction offers a close fit through the fingers and backhand and a more open cuff for freedom of movement near the wrist. With this combination, players can expect a great feel while stickhandling, passing, and shooting. In the Supreme 3S model, Bauer includes a poly mesh shell for a lightweight and durable overall construction. For protection, the 3S glove includes dual-density foams and PE in the fingers and backhand. These technologies help to protect against common hockey impacts found at many levels of play, such as blocked shots and slashes. New to the Supreme 2021 glove line is the Shot Boost finger. The fingers use Shot Boost and a two-piece flex thumb to disperse energy and for better feel. Shot Boost was designed to optimize stick control when shooting. Bauer learned most players are using the middle and ring finger but keep the index finger straight. Shot Boost is a 3-Piece split Middle and Ring finger to allow for more energy transfer from this area.
