The Jetspeed FT8 gear puts emphasis on breathability and mobility, which means the gear is designed to be light, discreet and designed to keep players protected. The FT880 offers performance with the goal in mind of being a more affordable price point, featuring a Pro FlexThumb, game-ready construction, and a Sensalast palm. External Material The FT880 hockey gloves features a pro-quality mesh and lightweight polyester construction that provides remarkable durability while remaining lightweight. Additionally, these gloves boast an anatomical back roll design that is perfect for competitive play. Finger Design & Protection The fingers are protected with a competitive foam package that includes PE foam and PE plastic inserts. This provides players with a lightweight, high-quality protective glove, giving player’s an additional layer of protection that allows them to take on impacts. Backhand Protection The backhand uses PE foam and PE plastic shield inserts for reinforcement and protection. The premium foam and plastic inserts deliver a lightweight and top-notch level of protection. The glove features an anatomical back roll that combines good protection with a conventional design. Thumb Design The FT880 hockey gloves use an improved Pro FlexThumb, a feature that has been a part of CCM for many years. This feature includes a two-piece design that allows the player’s thumb to move more freely and naturally, making it easier to grip the hockey stick and control the puck. Cuff Design The short, pre-angled one-piece open cuff is designed to allow for lots of mobility while still keeping your wrist protected where it counts. This is especially important for stickhandling and shooting, where players need to be able to move their wrists quickly and easily. Palm Material & Gussets The Sensalast palm is continued to be used in the FT880 hockey gloves. It enhances the interaction between your hand and stick, and the sublimated reinforcement not only adds to the durability of the gloves, but also ensures that you get a firm and confident grip on your stick, allowing players to take their game to the next level. Liner With the FT880, you’ll get good comfort with the laminated liner and PU foam cushioning. The soft feel of the liner ensures that your hands will be cozy and content throughout the entire game.
