It appears the finish may have been chemically removed at some point, and there is also some chrome wear/removal up the shaft as well. We are not sure why this was done, perhaps for better feel or to reduce glare. At any rate, the club has a rough cosmetic appearance, but the grooves still look great and it is ready to play as pictured (SEE PICS)!! This club comes just as you see in the pictures (SEE PICS)!!
