This is a rare "transitional era" bag manufactured right at the turn of the millennium, making it an absolute unicorn for a serious PING collector or walking-golf purist. • Transitional Build Date: The internal production dial stamp is positioned directly between April and May of 2000. This marks the exact factory turning point where PING was transitioning production from the original Hoofer 1 to the Hoofer 2, making this a rare manufacturing variant. • Features pristine custom tournament embroidery on the ball pocket reading: "2000 Chad Tanner Invitational - Mark Harrell". •The bag was custom-ordered from PING for Georgia native Mark Harrell for his tournament victory in 2000. I purchased it directly from him that same year and have meticulously stored it in a climate-controlled environment for over two decades. • Canvas: Exceptional. There is absolutely ZERO sun fading or canvas discoloration. The forest green color is as deep and vibrant as the day it left the factory. • Stand Mechanism: The original pop-out stand mechanism functions flawlessly. The aluminum legs sit perfectly tight to the bag when carried and extend fully when set down. • Straps & Zippers: The original dual shoulder backpack straps are intact, comfortable, and fully functional.
