The padding in the helmet is custom made for our son’s head with an approximate size equivalent of 6 7/8th baseball hat. You can have the helmet custom fit for you by the Riddell rep. We purchased this helmet as an investment as it would last him from middle school all the way through High School with only the interior being refitted as he grew. He wore it in a few games last season (played about 10% of total snaps), with minimal contact.
