These should be the older 255, I don't have the box but I took a pic inside -- it's hard to see print but if you Google you'll see they match up. They're not so much recreational skates as they are for anyone who wants to develop figure skating skills. That means stiff boot and better blades. I personally like the padding. Unlike so many pre-owned skates these have barely been worn and there are no scratches from blades at the tip. Make sure you know your actual skate size, most people go down a size from what they usually wear. Any questions ask.
