This is the grandfather of such all-time greats as the Z2K, Redline, and Reflex. It ushered and Easton's use of a metal alloy covering an inner carbon composite core, hence the name C Core. The Baseball Bat Bros recently did a video and this bat had better exit velocity than the Reflex -5 which many consider to be the best bat ever made. The exit velocity was 10 miles per hour better than the modern Eastern Split. They opined it was the best 1990s bat ever reviewed. Has a minor crack that has clear epoxy over it to help prevent further cracking.
