The Marucci CATX2 Connect is designed with a 2 5/8 inch barrel diameter and a drop 3 length to weight ratio, making it perfect for high school and collegiate play. This two-piece, hybrid bat features an alloy barrel and a composite handle, offering an end-loaded swing feel that delivers explosive power with every hit.
Crafted from AZR Alloy, the CATX2 Connect undergoes a 3-stage thermal treatment process, creating a more responsive microstructure. This results in a better feel, increased forgiveness, and enhanced performance while maintaining the material's strength. The multi-variable wall design expands the sweet spot and thins the barrel walls, making them more forgiving on off-centered contact. Additionally, the ring-free barrel construction allows for more barrel flex and increased performance without any "dead" spots.
The custom-molded handle taper is ergonomically designed for each weight drop, providing a better fit, more bat control, and an improved overall feel between the athlete and the bat. The handle is also easily removable to fit athletes' preferences. With a micro-perforated soft-touch grip, the CATX2 Connect ensures you have the needed tack on the handle for maximum control.
One of the standout features of the CATX2 Connect BBCOR is its .25” longer barrel and updated internal wall design, which provides players with a wider usable barrel area and an increased sweet spot.
