The Marucci CAT X Connect Baseball Bat, available in both BBCOR and USSSA versions, is a two-piece hybrid design. It combines a powerful AZR alloy barrel with a stiff S-40 composite handle for the best of both worlds. The CAT X Connect's Ring-Free barrel boasts a large sweet spot for consistent power on contact, while the S-40 handle (which is 10 times stiffer than previous composite handles) allows for faster energy transfer to the ball. Additionally, the stiff connection minimizes vibration and maximizes energy transfer, translating to more balls leaving the yard.
