This is a great bat for a kid just starting out on wood.. We purchased this for a wood bat tournament in the fall. My son warmed up with it and ended up using someone else's bat. So, this bat has about 10 swings on it. It is basically brand new (no joke!) Plus, it has a brand new Lizard Skin grip on it. I waited too long to return it and now he has outgrown it. So here we are. If you are in the market for this bat (and it's a nice one), you are saving yourself money here. Your kid won't even know it's used.
