2024 Marucci CATX Alloy USSSA Certified Bat (-10) 20 oz 30" (Used)

Full disclosure. I am selling this bat for a friend who is the head coach for the travel team on which my son plays. His son plays on this team as well and leads the team in hitting. He has cycled through 5 bats over the past 2 years. All 5 bats were bought new by the father and have been used intermittently over the past 2 years and taken care of very well. This bat in particular is less than 2 years old, in excellent, used condition with no dents or rattles. The bat does have some minor scuff marks and scratches on the barrel but is in otherwise excellent condition. For transparency, this was his preferred game day bat and used Fall, 24 and Spring 25. Though used, this bat has alot of life left in it. It does have a refreshed Vulcan grip, which is not the original grip, but it has been applied well and is in great condition. This bat was not used in Fall 25 as we are now in 13U which requires a drop 8 bat. I would not sell this bat if I did not trust the father/friend and his explanation of the bat's history.

CATX came out in 2023. The first gen is a white ribbon silver bat. For the second run, Marucci came out with a version called the CATX Vanta. It's a blacked-out, limited-edition. Both gens are an alloy one-piece bat, both very strong performers. They took the alloy and strength from the CAT9 and applied the balance and feel from the CAT8 to develop the CATX.
