There was an AHL team with the same name in 1976-1977, they are now the Hartford Wolf Pack. The Reds changed their logo to this in 2019, there only season with this. The 13 stars represent the 13th state and the anchor represents the state flag, which is all in on the sailing motif, and is even a sailing flag. All hats are shipped in a box.
