This Descente Softshell Jacket is your perfect "shoulder season" outerwear. It is lighweight, yet windproof so it is surprisingly effective at keeping you warm, Add a sweater or down vest under it and it will take you through fall, and even into sunny days in the winter. The jacket is made from 100% Polyester knit fabric that is fleeced on the inside for warmth and stretches with you. I have this same jacket in another color that I have worn to play golf on a day in the 40s. It features a stand-up collar that can be zipped up all the way, elastic cuffs for a snug fit, and zippered side pockets. This is a jacket that I bought for a special event and ended up not using. It's getting lonely in the closet, so I am hoping that it will work for someone else. The size tag says Small, but the fit is generous.
