The robust K-DWR treated Primeflex softshell resists wind and light rain or snow-yet offers more breathability than waterproof hard shells for better core temperature management. While slightly heavier than hard-shell rain gear, soft shells are quieter, more durable, and remain comfortable in a wider range of conditions.
