The condition rating system evaluates both the top sheet and base condition on a scale that informs you of the amount of cosmetic damage visible on the board. With the condition scale running from 10 as brand new board that has never been used down to 6 with significant cosmetic damage. We do not sell any board that is less than a 6 on the rating scale, this allows us to accurately and precisely evaluate your future boards while providing you high quality boards at a great price. Top Sheet Condition 8.5 This top sheet condition may have some chips along the edges that will not need repaired. There may be moderate to heavy amounts of scratching to the surface of the tip and tails from board usage. The board may have some epoxy repairs to the edges of the board. There is no compromising damage to the board’s top sheet. Base Condition 8.0 This base condition may have lots of minor scratches or scuffs. They may have some substantial scratching or scrape that may need P-TEX to be fully repaired along with a tune; however, are still ready to use with no base welds needed. These may show signs of having a major P-TEX or base weld repair but these repairs are in good shape and ready to use. These boards have a fresh coat of wax on them and are ready to hit the slope.
