Jones Hovercraft 2.0, 164. Selling the board only, no bindings. The Hovercraft is Jones’s short-and-wide directional shape, built to be ridden longer than a normal board because so much of the length is in the nose. 1290mm effective edge, 271mm waist, 9.6m sidecut, 17mm taper, 46.38 dm² surface area. Rocker nose into camber underfoot, with a small cutout and speed hulls in the tail on the 2.0 version. It floats far better than the numbers suggest and it’s genuinely good in deep snow on moderate and flatter terrain. It’ll cross a runout where other boards bog down. It also holds fine on groomers when you need to get back to the lift, so it isn’t a one-condition board. Sized for bigger boots. The 271 waist runs a 285mm underfoot at the front foot, so size 11 to 12 works without toe drag. Jones spec puts the 164 in range for riders roughly 180 to 220 lbs. Honest note on why it’s going: I picked up a stiffer wide board for steep and technical terrain, and this one and that one ended up covering too much of the same ground. Nothing wrong with the board. I just don’t get enough deep days to justify both. Condition: has been used for 3 seasons, averaging 5 full days each year. Some small marks where bindings get mounted and on nose. Kept waxed with storage wax on base every off season. Tuned at local shop with grind every year.
