The aptly named Völkl Bridge Skis are just that, connecting the worlds of freestyle and freeride in one seamless swoop. Wide enough to float the pow, not too cumbersome when you're ripping the groomers, and with a sweet directional twin tip shape that is right at home in the park, the Bridge covers it all. Rocker Type ELP Full Rocker – Völkl matches the sidecut and flex of the ski perfectly to give it a smooth, gradual bend from tip to tail. This results in easy maneuverability in tight spaces and soft snow, but enables the skier to gain full edge contact when the ski is put on edge. Full Rocker skis have a slightly stiffer tip and softer mid-body to give you bomber stability, uncanny smoothness and easy turn initiation in one package. Shape Directional Twin Tip Core Multi-Layer Wood Core – Völkl freeskiing models feature a multi-layer wood core that features two different densities of wood. In the binding attachment area, a dense, ash core is used, while in the rest of the ski, the core is poplar. The more dense wood creates more secure screw retention, preventing binding pull-out, and the soft, supple poplar section allows for resilience and snap. The flex pattern is tailored to each ski model, depending on the desired performance. Power Construction – Construction utilizes traditional vertical sidewalls and a torsion box internal layup. Used in racing skis as well as all the freeskiing models, this versatile, proven construction provides tremendous grip, stability, and a smooth ride. Laminates Tough Box Construction – Völkl protects the goods (in this case the Multi-Layer wood core) with a composite and fiberglass sheath for resiliance, durability and snap. The Marker Griffon Ski Bindings 2015 are Marker's hugely popular Griffon with added versatility - you can adjust the binding for a wide range of boot sole lengths and adjust the toe position as well. Perfect for mounting on a ski that will see use by a variety of skiers, or for experimenting with with different mount points, the Griffon covers a DIN range of 4-13.
