The condition rating system evaluates both the top sheet and base condition on a scale that informs you of the amount of cosmetic damage visible on the ski with the condition scale running from 10 as a brand new ski that has never been used down to 6 with significant cosmetic damage. Top Sheet Condition 8.0 This top sheet condition may have moderate to heavy amounts of scratching to the surface of the tip and tails from ski usage. These top sheets may have one to five chips that do not compromise the integrity of the ski’s top sheet. Base Condition 7.5 This base condition describes a ski that may have a fair amount of scratching across the ski base. It will have a few deep scratches and gouges that may require P-TEX repairs and a tune. These skis do not need any base welds to be repaired and are safe to use out of the box; however, we recommend repairs and a tune on this ski to maximize your skiing experience.
