The condition rating system evaluates both the top sheet and base condition on a scale that informs you of the amount of cosmetic damage visible on the ski with the condition scale running from 10 as a brand new ski that has never been used down to 6 with significant cosmetic damage. Top Sheet Condition 8.0: This top sheet condition describes a ski that may have moderate to heavy amounts of scratching to the surface of the tip and tails from ski use. Base Condition 7.5: This base condition describes a ski that may have a fair amount of scratching across the ski base. It will have a few deep scratches and gouges that may require P-TEX repairs and a tune. These skis do not need any base welds to be repaired and are safe to use out of the box; however, we recommend repairs and a tune on this ski to maximize your skiing experience.
